Preparation for inspection
1. Install the service cable VAA10036.99.G00 in the DR300. Refer to Insert the service
cable on page 19.
2. Connect the VAA10036.99.G00 to an USB port.
3. Select the correct com port in the drop-down menu near by the Connect button. Refer
to Figure 8. Go to windows device manager and look for USB Serial Port (COMX).
Plug in and out the USB to see which com port the USB has.
4. Push on the DR300.
5. Push Connect.
6. Push Start inspection.
7. Enter the set number of the VAA10038.99.V00. The set number is shown and
automatically used for further inspections.
8. Follow the instructions to complete the first inspection. Refer to Do an inspection with
the test filter set, service cable, PC and VAP235 software on page 21.
