11.4 Battery notifications
12. Storage
Store packages under the following conditions:
• Do not store outdoors.
• Store in a dry and dust-free place.
• Do not expose to aggressive media.
• Protect against sun exposure.
• Avoid mechanical vibrations.
• Maintain storage temperature: - 25
°C to + 70 °C
• Observe the relative humidity: max. 95%, not condensed.
• Remove batteries when in temporary storage and only insert them immediately before
commissioning.

• Signal indicates that the furniture lock
no longer locks after opening

not locked and remains open
Short double acoustic
signal (every minute)
• Lock is disabled • Very, very low battery
• Signal indicates that the user should
unlock the furniture lock immediately
and change the batteries.
• Otherwise there is a risk that the
furniture lock will remain permanently
locked when the batteries die.
Using batteries other than those recommended may adversely affect battery life. This
may cause deviations and premature battery messages and result in the lock no
longer being able to be opened.
If there are further storage instructions provided in the product packaging, be sure to
comply with these also.
