Lesion size and shape is determined by numerous factors including:
• probe active tip length
• impedance of tissue
• current intensity
• length of time that energy is applied
• water ow rate
• water temperature
Ensure proper slection of the appropriate sized active electrode tip to achieve the desired lesion size.
