2 General description
The Calypso is an electrically driven scooter for use outside, on paved roads, for longer
distances.
The height of the seat is adjustable according to the leg length of the user.
The seat can be turned, and the arm-rests folded aside, by the user when he/she wants
to make a transfer.
When driving at higher speeds, one should be extra careful.
That’s why, especially on sidewalks or around pedestrian areas, we advise you to set
your scooter to a lower maximum speed.
The following should be kept in mind when using the scooter:
• A scooter is not a motorized vehicle in the traffic regulations sense.
When participating in traffic, you have the same rights and duties as a pedestrian.
• A driver’s license is not required. You do not have to pay any road tax.
• Using the Calypso is not restricted to any age.
• The scooter is a technical product. Therefore, any repairs and maintenance should be
carried out by qualified personnel. If any work needs to be done, you should contact
your supplier.
