4.6.2 Removing the battery cover
See fig. 000000016.
The battery cover should be removed as
follows:
Switch off the scooter.
Take the ignition key from the lock.
Remove the seat ; see 'removing the seat’.
Untie the elastic band (A) with which the
battery cover (B) is fastened at the front.
Carefully remove the battery cover.
The battery cover should be replaced in
reverse order.
Make sure that the lips at the
side are inserted into the
slots of the back part.
4.6.3 Removing the batteries
See fig. 000000017.
The batteries should be removed as follows:
Switch off the scooter.
Take the ignition key from the lock.
Remove the seat ; see 'removing the seat’.
Remove the battery cover. See 'removing
the battery cover‘.
Untie the bands (A) with which the batteries
(B) are fastened.
Pull out the plugs (C).
Lift the batteries from the scooter, one by
one, using the carrying belts.
The batteries should be placed in reverse
order.
4.6.4 Disconnecting the operating
cable
See fig. 000000018.
The operating cable should be disconnected
as follows:
Squeeze the plug (A) in the top and bottom.
Pull both parts from each other.
Putting the two plug parts together again will restore the electrical connection.
