7.1 Automatic fuse
See fig. 000000025.
The scooter is equipped with an automatic
fuse (A), which will switch off the total electric
installation in case of an overload or short
circuit.
This is to prevent damage. An overload may
develop if the motor is overheated because it
is overloaded.
If the automatic fuse switches off the electric
circuit of the scooter, it will jump out. all lights
on the dashboard are off and the scooter will
no longer drive.
The automatic fuse is located on the right-
hand side, underneath the seat, on top of
the battery cover.
By pressing the automatic fuse back in again, you can try to restart the scooter. If the
automatic fuse jumps out again, you need to wait awhile
(15 to 20 minutes) to allow the motor to cool off.
If you are able to restart the scooter after this, you may drive on.
Make sure, however, to avoid obstacles and hills.
If the automatic fuse jumps out again after the motor was allowed to
cool off, there may be a short circuit.
In this case, do not attempt driving, but contact your dealer.
Remark:
If the automatic fuse jumps out under normal user circumstances, contact your dealer.
