6.1 Maintenance table
Everything that is used, should be maintained. This is also true for a scooter.
For trouble-free use of the scooter, it should be regularly serviced by the dealer.
In the schedule below, we have indicated what needs to be checked, in what frequency
and by whom.
Term Description To be
executed by
Daily Checking the battery voltage Yourself
Weekly Checking the tire pressure Yourself
Monthly Cleaning of the scooter Yourself
Cleaning of the upholstery (if necessary) Yourself
Every three
months
Lubricating the turning system of the seat: to do this,
the seat must be removed. See 'Removing the seat'.
Yourself
Every six /
twelve months
General overhaul Dealer
By following the maintenance guidelines yourself, you will help keep your scooter in
optimum condition.
6.1.1 Batteries
For maintenance see the following documentation:
Regulations on the batteries.
Owner's manual of the battery charger.
The scooter has 'dry' gel batteries. These dry batteries (dry-fit) are entirely sealed and
maintenance free.
A connection diagram of the batteries has been included with the cover of the battery
box.
See to it that the batteries are always well charged.
Do not use the scooter if the batteries are almost depleted. This
is bad for the batteries and you have a risk of coming to an
unintended standstill.
When the batteries need to be replaced, do so by using dry
batteries.
