extinguisher with the designation ‘F’
or a fire blanket.
Make sure to have the appliance
checked by our Service team after ex
-
tinguishing a fire (see "Our service" on
page EN-35).
If the external cooling fan is broken,
the appliance can quickly overheat,
which can cause heavy damage to
the appliance and set fire to any oth
-
er nearby flammable objects. In such
an event, immediately switch off the
appliance, open the oven door and
stop using the cooker!
Only protective hob grilles or hob
covers made by the hob manufac
-
turer, approved protective hob grilles
or covers which are listed in the user
manual, or pre-installed protective
hob grilles or hob covers may be used.
The use of unsuitable protective hob
grilles or hob covers may lead to ac
-
cidents.
Before starting the timer, please
make sure to inform all members of
the household so that they do not
put anything in the oven.
Never leave anything to grill unat-
tended when using the timer!
Monitor the oven while using the tim-
er in order to prevent spills and burn-
ing. Please note that fats, oils and al-
cohol can catch on fire when heated.
Risk of burns!
During its use, the device and its ex
-
posed parts can become hot.
Caution should be exercised not to
touch the heating elements, walls,
baking trays, etc.
Children aged 8 years or younger
must be kept away from the device,
unless they are under constant super
-
vision.
Hot steam can flow from the extrac-
tion hood (ventilation) when the oven
is in use. Exercise caution when open
-
ing the hot oven!
Never pour water directly into the hot
oven. The steam can cause scalding
and damage the enamel.
Allow hot water from the oven to cool
before pouring it out.
Never leave the oven unattended
while grilling. Keep children away!
The cooking zones get very hot dur-
ing operation and will remain hot af-
ter they are switched off; this is shown
by the residual (24) heat indicator.
If a power failure occurs, the residu-
al heat indicator will go out and may
not indicate the presence of residual
heat.
Do not place metal objects such as sil-
verware and lids on the glass ceramic
hob because they may heat up and
cause burns.
Allow the cooking zones and oven to
cool completely before cleaning.
