You can use any single-stage gear oil which in the winter meets the SAE 85W grade and
lower, in summer SAE 80 or higher. In case of using the multi-stage oil then combine these
winter and summer grades, e.g. SAE 80W-90. Choose the SAE oil viscosity grade to match
the temperature conditions of the place of use
DON’T MIX OILS!
Quantity according to the specifications.
1. Switch off the motor.
2. Disconnect the spark plug.
3. Unscrew and remove the gearbox oil filling plug using a suitable tool (fig. 10A).
4. Carefully top up the gearbox oil. Do not spill!
5. Re-tighten the gearbox oil filling plug.
PREPARING THE MOWER
SETTING THE STEERING HEIGHT
1. Slightly loosen the bolts (fig. 11A) with the circlip and the washer on both sides of
the handlebars support (fig. 11B).
2. Set the desired steering height.
3. Tighten the bolts with the circlip and washer again.
MOWING BAR
For the mower’s proper operation, it‘s necessary to take care of the mowing bar. Adjust and take
care of the bar according to the MAINTENANCE / Adjustment section and maintenance of
the mowing bar.
On a new machine, check the mowing bar adjustment after the first hour of operation!
OPERATION
WARNING!B
Engine produces carbon monoxide during operation. It is a colourless, odourless
poisonous gas. Breathing carbon monoxide can cause nausea, faintness, reproductive
disorders or even death. Do not start the engine in a closed space which can cause an
accumulation of carbon monoxide.
TO START ENGINE
1. Ignition is connected through the cable and the spark plug cap (the rubber boot) with
the spark plug. Check the connection (fig. 12A).
2. When starting cold engine, turn throttle lever (fig. 13A) to b START“ position. When
starting warm engine turn throttle lever to FAST „c“ position.
3. Grasp the starter handle (fig. 14A) and pull gently on the starter handle until it begins to
resist, then pull quickly and forcefully upwards.
