INFORMATION ON MOWING
C Ensure that the respective engine ventilation slots do not get clogged with cut
material and as such the engine is no longer cooled sufficiently.
• Clear lawn of debris. Be sure that the lawn is clear of stones, sticks, wire or other foreign
objects which could be accidentally thrown out by the mower. It may cause serious personal
injury to the operator and others as well as damage to property and surrounding objects.
• Steer the product at an even, slow speed (walking pace) in the straightest lines possible.
• Always work across slopes where possible.
• Do not cut wet grass.
• Overlap the mowing lines slightly for an even appearance.
CAUTION!A
If you strike a foreign object, stop the engine. Disconnect wire from spark plug,
thoroughly inspect the mower for any damage and repair the damage before
restarting and operating the mower. Extensive vibration of the mower during
operation is an indication of damage. The mower should be promptly inspected and
repaired. Contact an authorized service center.
WARNING!B
Risk of injury! Do not clean the cutting tool while the engine is running. Switch off
the motor and remove the spark plug connector. Always use aids, e.g. a piece of
wood for removing jammed objects.
