Upon delivery
of
the unit, the controller address
is
set to 00, and the Baud rate
to
9600.
For other addresses
or
other Baud rates, the controller must be reconfigured (see
operating instructions for the EUROTHERM controller).
Caution:
In the case
of
some RS 422/485 interface cards for personal computers,
it
may be necessary to change the polarity
of
the signals Rx and Tx.
If
the
controller does not respond
to
the computer interface, connect Rx+
of
the
PC interface to Tx-
of
the controller, and Tx+
of
the PC interface to Rx-
of
the controller.
