CLOSING PROTECTION
It must be possible to protect gates that remain open against unintentional move-
ments – for example, as a result of gusts of wind.
With the Delta and uGate, this can be done using a locking pin. The Axel uses a
comb that hooks into a gear rack. Unlike the Delta/uGate, the Axel can be locked in
any position.
5.2.1 CLOSING PROTECTION DELTA/UGATE
A blocking plate is mounted on the gate leaf during assembly. A retractable locking
pin provides the security.
Before closing the leaf, make sure that the locking pin is retracted.
