To lock the steering, turn the handlebar all the
way to the left, turn the key (1) to "LOCK"
position while pushing in and remove the key.

CAUTION
!!
Gently close the by hand. Sudden filler cap
dropping of the may result in filler cap
breaking the lock and malfunction of filler cap
the lock.
(d) Seat lock
The seat lock is provided along with the
ignition switch (1).

CAUTION
!!
Do not try to turn the key to "LOCK" position
while riding the vehicle, which may lead to loss
of vehicle control.
(c) Fuel filler cap/Lock
The fuel filler cap lock is provided with ignition
switch (1).
To lock the filler cap push down gently until it
locks and hear a click sound to ensure the fuel
filler cap is secured before riding.
To open the filler cap, insert the key (2) while
pushing in and turn it clockwise to “FUEL
OPEN” position. The filler cap will release
from its latch.
• If the battery is in healthy condition and the
i3s system does not work properly, it is
recommended to visit your Authorised Hero
MotoCorp workshop.
• If the vehicle has fallen down, i3s function
will be deactivated. Before restarting the
engine you must turn the ignition switch to
“OFF” ( ) position and then back to “ON”
( ) position.
• i3s system if the vehicle will be deactivated
battery is low/dead or driven without
battery.
• If vehicle diagnoses with any problem in
electronic control unit (ECU) the i3s function
will not work.
To lift the seat, insert the key (2) and turn it
anti-clockwise to unlock the seat. The seat
will release from its atch.c
