4.4 Connection Variants
This chapter describes the correct wiring of the module in safety-related applications. The
connection variants specified here are permitted.
4.4.1 Input Wiring
The inputs are wired via connector boards. Special connector boards are available for
redundantly wiring the modules.
The supply is decoupled using diodes. This ensures that the supplies of two modules can
supply one proximity switch if the modules are redundant to one another
Connector boards X-CB 006 01 (with screw terminals) or X-CB 006 03 (with cable plug) can
be used to perform the wiring such as described in
Figure 12, Figure 13 and Figure 14.
