With the sheath type temperature probe, the
temperature is measured at the end of the
metal sheath. For accurate measurements of
an objects internal temperature, insert the
metal sheath to a depth of 15 to 20 times its
diameter.
Measurement of an objects internal temperature
When measuring surface temperature with the
surface type temperature probe, bring the
measuring point into full contact with the
measured object (In the case of the 9181
temperature probe, measurement should be
performed after the protective cap is removed
from the tip of the probe).
