Inserting/Replacing Batteries
CAUTION
Poor performance or damage from battery leakage could
result. Observe the cautions listed below.
• Do not mix new and old batteries, or different types of
batteries.
• Be careful to observe the battery polarity during
installation.
• Do not use batteries after their recommended expiry date.
• Do not leave depleted batteries inside the instrument.
• To avoid corrosion and damage to the instrument
from battery leakage, remove the batteries from the
instrument if it is to be stored for a long time.
