2.5.2 Measuring Insulation Resistance
Ex. When measuring the insulation resistance between circuit
and ground
Always turn off the breaker of the measurement line.

If the MEASURE key is in the raised position, fold it back.
2.
Set the rotary selector to a test voltage of 50 V to 1000 V.
In the 500 V or 1000 V range, press to release the
lock.
3.
Connect the black test lead to the ground side of the
object being measured.
4.
Connect the red test lead to the line to be measured.
5.
Pless and hold the MEASURE key. (To make continuous
measurements, pull the button up.)
6.
Read the value after the indicator has stabilized.
7.
Turn off the MEASURE key while the test leads are
connected to the measurement object.
