Replacing a disk drive
This procedure describes how to replace the disk drive in a server blade or a
storage expansion blade. The disk drive is hot-swappable component and
allows disk drive replacement with the server blade power on.
Note:
• Back up all user data before replacing a disk drive. When the RAID group
and logical unit are deleted or formatted, the user data will be lost.
• Do not remove the failed disk drive if the LEDs of itself or another disk
drive in the same server blade or storage expansion blade indicate the
following conditions.
