# Problem Description
17 A remote CD/DVD, FD, USB
memory is not available.
End the remote console or virtual media console, and
restart it.
18 CapsLock key is not
available.
Use Shift and CapsLock
keys instead.
19 When Windows Server
2008 or Windows Server
2008 R2 is installed on the
system console, a remote
CD/DVD, FD, USB memory,
and FDDUMP are not
available.
This occurs when a user other than built-in users tries
to use the remote console or FDDUMP. Perform it as a
built-in user.
For FDDUMP, click Start > Run as administrator to
avoid this problem.
20 "Safety Remove Hardware"
cannot be executed for USB
device used by the remote
FD, remote CD/DVD, or
remote USB.
"Safety Remove Hardware" operation may be failed
immediately after exiting the remote FD, remote CD/
DVD, and remote USB memory. Execute the operation
again a few minutes later.
21 When press an eject button
on the CD/DVD drive after
using the remote CD/DVD,
a media cannot be
removed.
USB CD/DVD drive:
Disconnect the USB CD/DVD drive from the system
console and reconnect it. Press the eject button again
to remove the media.
Internal CD/DVD drive:
Press eject button again to remove the media after
executing one of the following operations:
•
Disable the CD/DVD drive using the device
manager and then enable it again.
• Reboot the system console.
22 A message "The max
number of session has been
reached" is displayed; the
remote console cannot be
connected.
This message is displayed when other system console
is already connected. The IP address of the system
console already connected can be displayed by using
"show blade bmc session" command of the CLI of
management module. To forcibly disconnect the
session, use "disconnect blade bmc session" command.
23 Once a virtual drive is
disconnected from the
server OS, the virtual drive
is not recognized by the
server OS if re-connected.
Click USB Reset button on the virtual media console to
reset the virtual drive.
24 USB keyboard is not
available on the remote
console.
Click USB Reset button on the virtual media console to
reset.
25 The Network Error dialog
box is displayed during an
attempt to use the console,
and the virtual media
console cannot be used.
Exit the virtual media console.
In the Java Control Panel, click [Security], and from
[Manage Certificates] or [Certificates], delete the
following certificates:
Issued to: IP-address-for-server-blade
Issued by: IP-address-for-server-blade
After deleting the certificates, restart the remote
console, and start the virtual media console.
