2. Place 1 liter or larger capacity container under the drain
hose.
3. Rotate the bottom of filter element (2) counterclockwise
by using a spanner to remove filter element (2) from
head cover (3).
4. Apply a thin layer of fuel to the cartridge gasket (O-ring).
5. Install new filter element (2) on head cover (3) while
rotating filter element (2) clockwise. Tightening torque:
25±2 N·m (2.5±0.2 kgf·m)
6. Open cock (1) on the bottom of the fuel tank.
7. Bleed Air from the Fuel System
After replacing fuel filter element (2), bleed air from the
fuel supply system.
