7. If your outboard motor is a remote
control type, turn the ignition key to
the ON position. Engage the emer-
gency stop switch clip, located-at
one end of the emergency stop
switch lanyard, with the emergency
engine stop switch.
SPARE EMERGENCY
STOP SWITCH CLIP
A
spare emergency stop switch clip is
provided on the remote control box.
CHOKE‘KNOB
(TILLER HANDLE TYPE)
8. If the engine is cold or the ambient
temperature is low, pull the manual
choke knob located on the front of
the outboard motor.
