Align the mark on the
throttle grip with the projected end
of the mark on the handle.
When the engine is cold or
ambient temperature is low, pull
the choke knob to the ON position.
(It provides rich fuel mixture to
the engine.)
This engine is equipped with an
accelerator pump. Do not turn the
throttle grip frequently before
starting. Hard starting may result. If
the throttle grip has been turned
frequently before starting, open the
throttle grip 1/8 1/4 turns and start.
Move the shift lever to the N
(neutral) position. The engine does
not start unless the shift lever is set
in the N (neutral) position.
