Water intake port and/or
water check hole are/is
clogged.
Engine is overloaded
because of unequally
distributed passengers or
excessive load on the
boat.
Clean water intake
port and/or water
check hole.
Distribute the
passengers equally.
Do not load on the
boat excessively.
Cavitation. Install the outboard
motor in the proper
position.
Trim to correct angle.Trim angle is not correct.
Consult with an
authorized Honda
outboard motor dealer.
Unmatched propeller is
selected.
Propeller is damaged. Replace propeller.
