When the engine is cold or the
ambient temperature is low, leave
the fast idle lever in the initial
position. (This will provide rich
fuel mixture to the engine by the
automatic choke.)
When the engine is warm, raise the
fast idle lever to the FAST IDLE
position and hold it in the position.
Set the control lever in the N
(neutral) position.
The engine does not start unless
the control lever is set in the N
(neutral) position.
The fast idle lever does not move
unless the control lever is set in the N
(neutral) position.
