Fuses
F uses protect the electrical circuits on your
motorcycle. If something electrical on your
motorcycle stops wo rkin g, check for and

I Inspecting and Replacing Fuses
Turn o ff the ignition sw itch to remove and
inspect fuses. If a fuse is blown, replace with a
fu
se of the same rating. For fuse ratings, see

Replacing a fuse wit h one that has a higher rating great ly
increases the chance of damage to the electrical system.
If a fuse fails repeatedly, you likely have an
electrical fault. H ave your motorcycle inspected
by your dealer.
