I Rear Wheel
Removal
1. Support your motorcycle secure ly and
raise the rear wheel off the ground using
a maintenance stand or a ho i st.
2. L oosen the rear axle nut, lock nuts and
turn the adjusting nuts so the rear wheel
can be moved a ll the way forward for
maximum
drive chain slack.
3. Remove the rear ax le nut.
4. Remove the dr i ve chain from the rear wheel
sprocket by pus hin g the rear wh ee l forward.
