Recommended Coolant
Pro Honda HP is a pre-mixed so lution of
antifreeze and disti ll ed water.
Conc entration:
50% antifreeze and 50% distilled water
A concentration of ant ifr eeze be l ow 40% w i ll
not provide proper corrosion and cold
temperature protection. A concentration of up
to 60% w ill provide better protection in co lder
climates.

Using coolant not specified for aluminum engines or
using
ordinary tap water can cause corrosion.
Air Cleaner
This motorcycle is equipped with a viscous type
air
cleaner element which cannot be cleaned
with compressed air or otherw ise w ithout
degrading its performance.
Maintenance Fundamentals
If the filter becomes dirty, replace it with a new

Crankcase Breather
Service more frequently when riding in rain, at full
throttle,
or after the motorcycle is washed or
overturned. Service if the deposit level can be seen in
the transparent section of the drain tube.
If the drain tube overflows, the air filter may
become contaminated
with engi ne oil causing
poor engine

Tires (Inspecting/Replacing)

Visua ll y inspect your tires and use an air
pressure
ga uge to measure the air pressure at
least on ce a month or any time you think the
tires
look low. Always check air pressure wh en
your tires are cold.
