Removing & Installing Body Components ~ Battery

I Removal
Make sure the ignition switch is off.
1. Remove the front seat. ~ P. 50
2. Remove the battery holder by removing
the
bolt.
3. Disconnect the negative 8 terminal lead
from the batter y.
4. Di sconnect the positive ffi terminal lead
from the battery.
5. Remove the battery taking c are not to
drop the terminal nut s.
I Installation
Install the parts in the reverse order of
removal. Always connect the positive ffi
terminal first. Make sure that bolts and nuts
are tight.
Readjust the
clock after the battery is
reconnected since the clock goes wrong
once the battery
is disconnected.
