Adjusting the chain requires special tools.
Have the drive chain slack adjusted by your
dealer.

When adjusting the drive chain slack, be
careful not to damage the wheel speed
sensor and
pulser ring.
1. Pl ace your motorcycle on the side stand
on a
level surface.
2. Stop the engine. Pl ace the transmission
in Neutra l.
3. Loosen t he rear ax le nut.
4. Loosen the lock nuts on both sides of the
swingarm.
