6. Pull the starter grip lightly until you
feel resistance; then pull briskly in
the direction of the arrow as shown.
• Do not allow the starter grip to
snap back against the engine.
Return it gently to prevent damage
to the starter.
• Do not let the starter rope rub
against the generator body, or the
rope will wear out prematurely.
• Be careful not to hit your hand
against the handle when pulling
the starter grip.
7. If you wish to use the Auto Throttle
system, turn the Auto Throttle
switch to the ON position after the
engine has warmed up for 2 or 3
minutes.
