Engine Oil
Be sure to check the engine on a level surface with the engine
stopped.
Engine oil is a major factor affecting engine performance and
service life.

Ambient temperature
SAE 10W-30 diesel oil certified to meet or US automobile
manufacturer’s requirements for API Service Classification CC or CD
(Diesel oils intended for Service CC or CD will show this designation
on the container).
SAE 10W-30 is recommended for general, all temperatures use. Select
the appropriate viscosity for the average temperature in your area.
Open the maintenance lid.
Remove and wipe the dipstick clean.
Insert the dipstick into the oil level inspection hole as shown.
Check the oil level shown on the dipstick. If near the lower level,
remove the oil filler cap and fill to the upper level with the
recommended oil.
