Before the selected sub menu operation is started the following message is displayed for at least three
seconds:
Inhibiting 4-20
Please Wait
The analogue output is inhibited and the chosen sub menu operation proceeds. After the sub menu
operation is completed, or aborted by pressing the ESC key, the following message is displayed:
Press Enter To
Release 4-20
Press to release the 4-20 receiver output and the following message will be displayed for three seconds:
4-20 Released
Display
Display system readings. This choice is the same as the GAS READING DISPLAY option on the
DISPLAY MENU.
Notes:
1. The 4-20 output is inhibited during the display. See the earlier description.
2. No spinning line is displayed as the receiver is not in a fully activated state.
Install
This choice is used to complete the alignment and commissioning operations after the system
is mechanically and electrically installed. It provides a sequential set of operations to:
• view the system type
• set the system path length
• perform a system self test
• check system alignment
• initialise the system and make it live
Note: The 4-20 output is inhibited during this procedure. See the earlier description.
