MOUNTING
Duct Mounting
Before beginning Duct Mounting:
I have conrmed local codes for proper draining practices for hot water
I have chosen an installation location that meets the requirements on page 10
Follow these steps to mount steam humidier directly to the supply duct of the homeowner’s HVAC equipment.
STEP ONE: Select a Mounting Location
Choose a location that has access to a cold
water supply pipe.
Select a vertical or horizontal surface on the HVAC
supply duct, with adequate clearances, where steam
humidier can be mounted.
Make sure there is a 120 VAC electrical outlet
rated for the steam humidier being installed.
Ensure the location is near a drain with a high-
temperature water rating. Consult local plumbing
codes for proper drainage. If no main oor drain
is available, see “Other Plumbing Options” on page
16.
STEP TWO: Connect the Duct Nozzle
Slide the foam gasket over the nozzle.
Make sure the o-ring gasket is properly seated
in the groove.
Insert the duct nozzle into steam humidier. Twist
clockwise to ensure a tight seal.
