before servicing. To Reduce the Risk of Fire or Electric Shock, Do Not Interconnect the Outputs of Different
Class 2 Circuits.
Grounding
Building earth ground ( ) is a functional grounding, and it does not offer shock protection from a hazardous
voltage. Connect the building earth ground ( ) terminal to the panel ground using the proper cable as shown
above. Ensure that the panel ground connects to a known earth ground.

NOTE: In case of various earth points at different potential across the building,
it is not recommended to earth V0 on Unitary devices due to the risk of
earth currents. Given the internal connecting between V0 and all COM terminals,
this could lead to currents flowing through the common wire on the
BACnet
TM
MS/TP signal.
