Mini window
As the minimum presentation form of windows, mini windows save space and
boost with multi-tasking. You can activate a mini window from either full-screen
or window mode:
From full-screen mode:
While using an app in full screen, swipe up from the bottom edge to the
position and
release to activate a mini window.
From window mode:
• Drag the
at the top of the window to the upper left or upper rightcorner and
release to activate a mini window.
• Swipe inward from both bottom corners of the window to minimize it and release
to activate a mini window.
• Swipe the at the bottom of the window to minimize it and release to
activate a mini window.
Tap a mini window once to switch to a window; tap it twice to switch to full-screen
mode.
Open an Attachment in a Floating Window
You can open a link or attachment within apps (such as Email or Notes) in a
window.
feature is unavailable in some apps.
1 Open the Email app.
2 Touch a link or attachment in the Email app to open it in the window.
• Open a link: Touch a link in the Email app to display it in a window.
• Open an attachment: Touch an attachment (such as a document, image, or video)
in the Email app to display it in a window.
Split-Screen for Multi-Tasking
Use two apps simultaneously on a split screen. Before diving into split-screen, ensure the
Multi-Window dock switch is toggled on by going to Settings > Accessibility features >
Multi-Window.
