display to a minimal form and bring it back when you need it.
• Split screen: Two apps can be used at the same time in the screen.
• Dual-window: You can use two of the same app at the same time in a split screen.
• Apps that Multi-Window may by device model and version.
Floating Windows Make Switching Tasks Easier
Use communication apps without leaving the game? All it requires is to enable
windows. Before using, go to Settings > Accessibility features > Multi-Window and make
ensure Multi-Window dock is turned on.
Open a window
Swipe inwards from either side of the screen and hold to open Multi-Window dock. Tap an
app to open the window.
Adjust the size
Slide the bottom two corners of the window.
Move the window
Drag the
on top of the window.
Minimize the window
out the following methods:
• Quickly drag the on top of the window to either side of the screen to
minimize it to an assistive ball.
• Tap
> on top of the window to minimize it to an assistive ball.
Close the window
out the following methods:
• Swipe up the on the bottom of the window to close it. Swipe it down to
switch to full screen.
• Tap > on top of the window to close it.
• Some apps do not window feature.
• Up to 10 windows (including mini windows) can be included in the assistive ball.
Multi-tasks in Floating Windows
You can and switch windows quickly with the window task manager.
