CAUTION: Always disconnect the flight battery before performing motor
service.
Disassembly
1. Remove the spinner screw (M3 x 30mm) (A) and the spinner (B).
2. Use a tool to remove the spinner nut (C), and then remove the
propeller (D), spinner backplate (E), hub (F), and collet (G), from the
motor shaft.
3. Pull to remove the magnetically attached cowl (H) from the fuselage.
4. Remove the 4 screws (M3 x 35mm) (I) and the motor (J) with the
X-mount from the fuselage.
5. Disconnect the motor wires from the ESC wires.
6. Remove the 4 screws (M3 x 6mm) (K) and motor from the
X-mount (L).
Assembly
7. Assemble in reverse order.
• Correctly align and connect the motor wire colors with the ESC
wires.
• Install the propeller with the size numbers (12 x 6E) facing forward.
• Tighten the spinner nut to secure the propeller into place.
