2-10. Changing the 5315A power lin e vo ltage selector requires the cab in et to be opened.
Instructions for changing the line voltage setting are given in Section V.

2-12. Power line connnections are selected by the position of the plug -;n circuit card in the
module. When the card is plugged into the modu le, the onl y visible markings on the ca rd indi-
cate the line vo ltage to be u se d. The correct va lue of line fuse, wit h a 2S0 -volt rating, mu st be
in st al led after the card is inserted. This in str ument uses a 0.25A fuse (HP Part No . 2110-0201 ) for
l00 / 120- volt operat ion ; a 0 .1 2A fuse (HP Part No. 2110-0318) for 220/ 240-v olt operation.

ert from one line voltage to another, the power cord must be di sconnected from
the power modul e before the slid in g w in dow co ve ring the fuse and card c ompartmen t can be
mo ved to expose the fuse and circuit card.

Pull on the fu se lever to remo ve the fuse and then pull the ca rd out of the module. Th e
fuse
lever must be held to one side to extract and insert the card. I merl the ca rd so the marking
that agrees wit h the line vo ltage to be used is vi si bl e.
2-15. Return fu se lever to normal position , insert correct fuse, sl id e plastic win do w over the
compartment , and connect the power cord to comp lete the conver si on .
