Operation
NOTE
For specifications concerning bandwidth , accuracy, and ampli tude on
input signals, refer to Table 1-1.
1. Set POWER switch. to the ON position .
2. Set SEP/COM A switch. to SEP posi tion.
3. Connect the signal, either sine wave or puls es, to be totalized to IN PUT A jack" and the gate
contro l signal to INPUT B jack .,.
NOTE
This mode will totalize inputs on Channe l A for the time between two
events on Channel B. The Gate will open on the A Sl ope selling and
close
on the B slope setting. Reset is required to make a new
measurement.
4. P ress RATIO Al B, A BY B sw itch. and the Blue shift key to select the totalize A BY B function .
5. Set AC/DC" .' AnN., • and Slope •• s witc hes to desired positions.
6. Set TRIGGER LEVEL / SENSI TI VITY switches CD " to SE NS ITIVITY position and lEVEl/SE NS
.. ., fu lly ccw. This sets the trigger level at 0 volts ( nominal ly) and sensitivity to minimum
(500 mV ).
7. Adjust each LE VEl/SENS • ., in a clockwise dire ct ion slightly bey ond the point the corre -
sp ond ing trigger light flashes. If signals are less than 250 mV rm s, the semitivity contro ls may
be fully cwo
