Setting
the
HP-IB
Address
You
can
only
set
the
HP-IB
address
from
the
front
panel.

“ADDRESS”
in
Chapter
4.
The
HP-IB
refuses
to
accept
a
new
HP-IB
address
if
it
is
in
the
remote
state,
or
if
it
is
addressed
either
as
a
listener
or
as
a
talker.
Return
the
HP
8153A
to
local
control
(via
controller)
before
changing
the
address.
The
default
HP-IB
address
is
22.
