Measure Mode
The default mode at switch-on is Measure Mode. When the instrument is in
measure mode, the mode-indicator shows MEAS. In measure mode, the function
of key is shown by the black legend on the key.
The Chan Key
(chanl selects the channel. This can be A or B. The channel- indicator, at the top
of the display, shows the selected channel.
Note Functions in Measure mode apply only to the selected channel.
When the instrument is under remote operation, this key acts as (Local) . That is,
it returns the instrument to local operation (unless Local Lockout is active).
The Mode Key
(Mode) changes the operating mode. If you press this key in measure mode, it
changes the instrument into menu mode (the next chapter gives a description of
menu mode).
Note The commands described in this chapter can only be used when
I the Instrument is in Measure mode.
