For averaging times of more than 1 second, the x value is
given by the formula

Xoid is the previous result,
Sample is the value read by the hardware,
Tavg is the averaging lime {as set by the user), and
Tsampie is the time taken, by the hardware, to make a
reading.
When a continuous trigger is used for averaging times of
more than 1 second, the first measurement is available at
the end of the averaging time. The second measurement
is available I second later, and a new measurement is
available every second after that. Each of these new
measurements is the average for the readings of the
preceding period. This is shown in Figure 8-2, TAverage
is 5s. First measurement is available at Xi, which is the
average for readings in the period TAverage- The second
measurement is available at X 2 , and so on.
