Set the Oscilloscope as follows: Input to 2V/DIV, DC coupled, IMOhm.
TIME/DIV to 0.005S/DIV; Sweep Mode to AUTO.
15. +5V
Using the Test Cable connect the +5V receptacle to the oscilloscope.
When pressing the switch on the Head Recognition Adapter, the -f 5V output
should switch from OV to -t 5V and back to OV after approx. 2s.
16. MODE 0 (MODE 1)
Connect the Test Gable from the MODE 0 (MODE 1) receptacle to the
oscilloscope.
When pressing the switch on the Head Recognition Adapter the MODE 0
(MODE 1) output should switch from OV to approx. + 5V and back to OV
after approx. 2s.
17. CLOCK
Using the Test Cable connect the CLOCK receptacle to the oscilloscope.
When pressing the switch on the Head Recognition Adapter the CLOCK
output should show clock pulses for approx. 4 seconds, going from -i-5V to
OV.
18. OE _
Using the Ihst Cable connect the OE receptacle to the oscilloscope.
When pressing the switch on the Head Recognition Adapter the OE output
should switch from + 6V to OV and then back to + 5V.
19. ON/OFF
Set the Oscilloscope as follows: Input to 5V/DIV.
Using the Test Cable connect the ON/OFF receptacle to the oscilloscope.
