This
service
manual
contains
information
required
to
install,
test,
adjust
and
service
the
Hewlett-Packard
Model
508A
Vector
Voltmeter.
The
HP
8508A
is
shown
in
Figure
1-1.
On

this

Number.
This
number
can
be
used
to
order

6
inch

the

Each

contains

which
is

unique
for
each
instrument.
The

on
the
title
page
of
this
manual.
An
instrument
manufactured
after
the
printing
of
this
manual
may
have
a
serial
number
prefix
that
is
not
listed
on

The

number
prefix
indicates
that
the
instrument
is
different
from
those
described
in
this
manual.
