The
Processor
Assembly
is
checked
during
the
Self
Test
routine,
and
any
failure
will
result
in
a
500
series
Error
Code
being
displayed.
If
this
should
occur,
check
that
the
assembly,
all
cable
connections
and
socketed
components
are
securely
located.
Re-run
the
self
test.
-
In
the
event
of
a
Processor
Assembly
failure,
it
is
possible
to
repair
the
fault
by
replacing
either
the
ROM
only,
or
by
substituting
a
new
processor
assembly
that
utilizes
the
current
ROM.
The
following
procedure
performs
addi-
tional
tests
that
will
indicate
if
the
ROM
is
in
fact
operating
correctly.
