Connector
The
HP-IB
connector
on
the
rear
panel
of
the
HP
8508A
provides
the
physical
interface
to
connect
the
HP
8508A
into
an
HP-IB
system.
Figure
2-3
illustrates
the
connector
pin
configuration.
Devices
in
the
HP-IB
system
may
be
interconnected
in
any
suitable
arrangement
(star,
delta,
etc)
using
the
HP-IB
cables
listed
in
Table
2-4.
However,
the
cable
length
restrictions
should
be
observed.
