CAUTION: After removing an expansion card, you must replace it with a
new card or cover the open slot (for example, with a metal slot cover) for
proper cooling of internal components during operation.
11. To install a new expansion card:
a. If the latch is not open, squeeze the sides of the latch together
to release it 1.
b. Open the latch 2.
c. Slide the expansion card firmly into the expansion card slot
until it is properly seated 3.
Installing an Expansion Card
When you install an expansion card, make sure you press firmly on
the card so that the whole connector seats properly in the expansion
card socket.
12. Close the expansion card retention latch, making sure that it snaps
firmly into place.
