Using OMEN Gear Switch
OMEN Gear Switch lets you independently control your accessories and peripheral devices across
devices. This feature also allows you to move files and data from one host computer to the other without
a USB drive.
There are two ways to use OMEN Gear Switch:
● Through the OSD Quick Settings menu, select Gaming Quick Setting menu > Gaming Advanced
menu > Input > OMEN Gear Switch.
● Through OMEN Gaming Hub for full control of OMEN Gear Switch and its advanced functions.
Follow this procedure to open OMEN Gaming Hub and use OMEN Gear Switch:
1. Type OMEN Gaming Hub in the Windows search bar.
2. Select the OMEN Gaming Hub app to access OMEN Gear Switch.
■
If OMEN Gaming Hub is not installed, download the OMEN Gaming Hub app manually from the
Microsoft Store.
Changing the Power Mode setting
This section describes how to activate Performance mode. Certain features on your monitor might
require Performance mode to be active.
When in sleep mode, to comply with international power standards, the monitor default setting is Power
Saver mode.
If your monitor supports Performance mode and you need to keep the USB ports enabled when the
monitor is in Auto-Sleep Mode, change the Power Mode setting from Power Saver to Performance.
To change the power mode setting:
1. Press the center of the OSD controller on the rear of the monitor to open the OSD menu.
2. Select Power, select Power Mode, and then select Performance.
3. Select Back, and then close the OSD.
