Removal and Replacement Procedures
5.9 RTC Battery
1. Prepare the notebook for disassembly (Section 5.3).
2. Remove the Mini PCI communications card (Section 5.8).
3. Disconnect the RTC battery cable 1 from the system board.
4. Remove the RTC battery 2 from the system board. (The RTC
battery is attached to the system board with two-sided tape.)
Removing the RTC Battery
Reverse the above procedure to install the RTC battery.
