3. Detach the cable (3) from the top cover with keyboard. (The cable is attached with double-sided
adhesive.)
To install the top-cover camera-board cable, reverse this procedure.

Before removing the top-cover camera board, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 34).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 34).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 35).
Remove the top-cover camera board:
1. Release the ZIF connector (1) the top-cover camera cable is connected to, and then disconnect the
cable from the board.
2. Release the ZIF connector (2) the system board cable is connected to, and then disconnect the
cable from the board.
3. Remove the M2.0 × 2.0 screw (3) that secures the board to the computer.
